Winter Holidays in the Alpbachtal

The stunning winter landscape in the Alpbachtal valley whisks you away into a winter-wonderland far from the everyday hustle and bustle, and far from any stressful mass-tourism. There is so much to do here in this beautiful holiday region.

Our region offers snow-guaranteed and family-friendly ski areas numerous winter hiking paths, winter running trails, approximately 100 km of cross-country skiing tracks, natural toboggan tracks and

plenty of absolutely stunning places to explore in our snow-covered alpine landscape.

There are many delightful activities to enjoy besides venturing out into the snowy mountains. All shopping enthusiasts delight at the charming boutiques in the old-town of Rattenberg, Tyrol's glass city. It is always a very interesting experience to visit the glassblowers' workshop in this idyllic city. Due to Tyrol being so rich in history and culture, sightseeing is a very popular pastime for all of our guests. The many museums, sights, and traditional festivities, such as the "Perchtenlauf" on the 5th December, the day the Krampus comes to town to scare all the naughty children. A very special highlight for all of us here, locals as well as guests, is the Rattenberg-Advent on every Saturday in December leading up to Christmas.
